| It's not a manual process. It is a computer program but then they have to review the results to make sure the program was right. |
If this process is manual then DCPS is more archaic than I could have ever imagined. These people are idiots and I'm starting to wonder if I should entrust my child's education to a system that is managed with such ineptness. Was there no one there that could have anticipated that the process would take longer than 4 days? I mean really, didn't they have to do this last year? In theory the process should go more smoothly with each passing year, but somehow things always seem to get mucked up and expectations are rarely met with city services...only in DC

WTF??
|
| This is simply ridiculous. If I was put in charge of making a public announcement on March 2nd, I would have lost my job by now! |
| I doubt it's manual, I think they just spend a lot of time verifying it so they don't look like the inept fools that some of you think they are. I don't know about you, but it's still March 2nd in my part of DC. |
| It's not manual. And it's still March 2. |
|
Really DCPS??
I cannot f*ckikng believe that they are THIS INEPT. |
| Mmmmm. You might want to check the site. |
| last year's results were in between 6:15 and 6:30pm. |

| Wow - our lowest wait list position is 106! Good luck everyone. |
Daaaaaaaaaaaarhling....this is Washington DC, if they say March 2, it should be done first thing in the morning. |
| They're out!! We're in to our back-up choice which is good. Over 100 on the two others we applied for. We're still hoping for success with the charters though. |
| Accepted @ Logan! |
| Wahoo! |
