I am now 41 and sahm. Made 400k
At 35 and then left it all. No regrets

400k is pretty amazing. Did you work for a firm or a company? Did you work for a high profile member or committe on the Hill? I'm a lobbyist making 140,000 and I'd love to make 400k.

Ah, but can you sleep at night? Are you doing your job, feeling proud of your work every day? Or is it all about the money?

What are you talking about? I now sahm. I managed government affairs at a trade association. Yes, I felt proud of my work, and worked reasonable hours.

25, lawyer. Worked incredibly hard. Paid off all my loans. Built a nice savings. Made money on real estate. Quit to do a different job I love.

I'm 38. It's never happening in my current profession. There is no DH, which is frankly why I'm not going to bust 5 figures. No time or energy. This is OK with me.

I'm in education and will never, ever break six figures. My husband was about 34 and in sales.
