26, while in finance....lost job in '09, became a teacher. I'm at 60K this year--workin' my way back, baby!
(FWIW, current contract has me cracking 6 figs in 15 years.) |
| I will break six figures this month. Happy dance. I'm 49. |
| 31, but it was more than basic pay. |
34, just this month. Woo hoo!! From a GS 6 to a GS 13 step 3. Only took me 10.5 years
|
| I broke it at 39, had a good ride for awhile topping off at 200k. Then it went down to 160k, then to 0 for 4 months, and now currently at 120k. Once I turned 50, my salary started to regress. |

36 now, high 6 figures, but can't seem to break the magic 7 figures. |
| 31 or so...inside sales. |
Yup. 39 here (DH 41) and im at 280k, he might hit 200k and i can feelnthat we are at the peak. Because of this we are socking it away as hard as possible. Trying to lsave this year 50%of our net. I knownthis gravy train isnt going to last. Taking full advantage of our low mortgage and low expenses to prepare. |

Me: 31 tech

| 25, software developer, got a job $88k/yr --> $75/hr, since then averaging $115/hr last 10 yrs |
Same here - GS13 step 3. I'm a bit older than you though.
|
| 32 and counting.... I might break six if I stay another 15 years+ at this same employer (been here almost 10 now). Then again I'm a social worker, so that'd be pretty amazing even if it takes forever. |
