http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stillbirth Good article on the subject. |
Maybe I'll have to draw a picture.
I meant to say that PP is wrong saying the cut is done at 20 weeks. And by mentioning practices in other countries I meant that there's no way to establish anything strict re fetal death. Even the medical community in the US can agree on a guideline. Jus read the article.

Totally uncalled for response. |
Well played, Ladies. Well Played |
Op MYOB |
This of course is as opposed to an "unwanted baby," which would somehow be different? For you, perhaps, but not for the fetus... |
What so many of you fail to understand is... THEY ARE NOT MOURNING!!! THEY ARE PUBLICIZING!!! Don't you see the difference? |
I think they're publicizing their grief.
And I, as a fan, really appreciate their thoughtfulness during this time of pain and loss. |
Exactly, you got my point! ![]() |
Society is on its way down when children are seen as "burdens." |
For those many PPs who seem to not understand miscarriages, here is a comprehensive blog post that explains several things. Before you deeply hurt a grieving friend or coworker, please read. Perhaps since the author is struggling with infertility, you will be able to muster up some human feelings like empathy and compassion:

What actions are publicizing? Sorry I don't spend my days following celebrity twitter feeds and reading OK magazine, so seriously I don't know. |
...and for anyone who doubts that this is all about publicity, here's your evidence:
http://dlisted.com/2011/12/14/so-duggars-showed-photos-jubilee-shalom-her-memorial-today "Sometimes you just have to sit back and type ........ and this is one of those times. Michelle Duggar recently miscarried a 5-month-old fetus she named Jubilee Shalom Duggar (that name, I know...) and the entire family held a memorial for her at their church in Arkansas today. During the memorial, they handed out professionally taken photos of Jubilee's hand and feets with the note "There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world" printed on top. The pictures from the memorial were posted by a family member on Twitter and now they're on TMZ. Yes, we're still living in a world where absolutely nothing is sacred. The pictures really aren't that graphic and I'm sure you'll see them when TLC airs a 2-hour special about this. I've seen pictures of women holding their dressed up miscarried babies while the entire family is smiling. Some might say it's tacky as hell, some might say it's creepy as hell, but I've always said that you grieve how you grieve and I'll grieve how I grieve. And yes, I grieve by shoving my face into a sheet cake until I'm too bloated to feel emotions anymore. But the thing that really gets me is that church. That's not a church, that's a Las Vegas casino! I know I see Wayne Newton back there. They have fancy ass lights and LED screens and shit. It's like if Jesus was new money. I mean, don't have some homeless people to feed?" |
They are publicizing themselves. Anything to keep that TV contract going.... |
