I have very similar legs as hers and yes, her legs are toned. The reason the calves look so large is because the muscle that would normally stop mid-calve actually connects almost down to the ankle. It is very hard to tone calves like that because the muscle is distributed completely differently. I have been very ashamed of my legs my whole life because of people like you. I was borderline anorexic trying to get them to look "good". Reality is, they are my genetics and no matter how skinny I got, they were going to be large. I stopped caring about what people thought a while ago, but it still irks me to hear people talk like this.

I think she looks great. She is beautiful and I bet she could gain 5-10 more pounds and still look good.

A lot of these perceptions are cultural or ethnic. I'm from Brazil and legs like hers are what almost every woman strives for and what most guys like. The average in shape white American has very skinny legs and their thighs just look flat and dull, IMO. Maybe you should move to Brazil, or pretty much over half the globe that admires this kind of body shape.

Giselle?

???? and your point is???
I dont think Giselle is representative of the majority of the Brazilian population.

You white women are crazy. Do all of you want to look like skinny cadavers. Love Hewitt looks great. She has all the right curves with just enough junk in th trunk.

How do you know all the PPs responding are white?

Because of the obvious body image that guides the negative comments?

I don't envy white women. It's illegal to age. And everyone must apologize for weighing more than a hundred pounds. No matter how smart, loving, or otherwise awesome you might be, it all comes down to weight with white women. How is that any way to live?

She looks like a brazilian woman, and IMHO brazilian women look all fat.

Let's call them what they are, cankles. You can't help it if you have them no matter how thin, I get it...but they can look better than that. See Mischa Barton.

And spare me the we are all beautiful in our own way crap. Wake up fat women.

She looks normal for a 32 y.o. A "young girl" is someone in their late teens and would look like a stick compared to her. Why would anyone want to regress back to that? It is natural for the women fill out over the years. Have you ever seen very skinny granny? Not a good look, nor healthy.

Honestly, what in the hell is wrong with you women? You must hate truly hate your own self in order to ssay such terrible things about how another woman LOOKS. Is that really how you want to spend your life?

Reason 1,456 I need to break my DCUM habit for good. I will not surround myself with hateful people in real life...why do I do it online?

(Before you ask...yes, I do take care of myself. I work out, lead an active lifestyle, wear make-up, and do my hair. However, that does not give me carte blanche to say mean things about other people!)

You're not straight! Go find a man.

I wouldn't want a body like she has, but my opinion isn't important. If she's happy, that's what matters.

And yes, cultural perceptions play into it, but not every black and/or Brazilian woman wants to be that large.

That. Is not. LARGE. That is normal and healthy. Anorexia is NOT attractive. Stop fooling yourselves.

I'm not a fan of the dress, why so tight? But I think she looks good, by no means fat or a cow. Come on people!

Um, you are aware that people gain weight in different parts of their body and have different builds, yes? Mischa Barton and Jennifer Love Hewitt are built COMPLETELY differently from one another. If you are aware of the fact that cankles are something you are born with...then you should also be aware that people gain weight in different places in their body. Not everyone was born to be built like a pre-pubescent boy.

I'm a size 2 black woman with curves & muscles but a different body build than Jennifer and Tyra's, they're gorgeous women with beautiful, feminine bodies, period. Not everyone strives or considers bonyness their standard of beauty.
