We're not actually here arguing that Brazilian women are fat, that black men like a big ass, that white women want to be like Kiera Knightly, all summing up the point that how we look in our particular culture equates to our self worth? Please tell me it isn't so. You all know that People Magazine and Allure are basically great big tomes looking to gain revenue through advertising, not biblical publications. You (We) all know that don't we? Can anyone of you imagine how powerful a force we'd be if we got together, held each other up based on our important achievements instead of tearing each other down based upon how we look? The potential is staggering simply based on the snark reversed.

Yup, a lot of times women can't get ahead because of other women (and men).

You do realize for centuries curvy women were considered sexy and fertile, right? Also, there is no way to tell from one photo how large or small JLH really is.

All ancient fertility deities and goddesses are large breasted, wife hipped, larger women - didn't you learn this in humanities? womans studies?

Here - check it out !!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fertility_deities

Actually, you should do some more research. Curvy does not always equal fat. Curvy women tend to gain weight in their hips, legs and buttocks. Gaining weight in these areas actually pulls the bad fats away from the heart. I actually saw some research done in the last few years about women who gain weight in their calves. They are healthier later on in life because of the reason I stated above.

Of course if you allow yourself to become obese, even the curvy women will start to gain weight in their mid-sections. That is when you should start to worry. However, I don't see this as an issue for Ms. Hewitt...AT ALL.

Ladies - it's probably just one or two very IMMATURE posters that are trying to rile you up. J. looks just fine, that's obvious.

Perhaps they are depressed women or lonely sitting at home and don't know what else to do except create trouble. Perhaps they are teenagers posting - otherwise they must know that what they are posting is rude and just plain silly. They are very silly women. IGNORE them.

I don't think this is right. "Curvy" women have much higher rates of diabetes than thin women.

No FAT women have much higher rates of diabetes than thin women. Curves =! obese. Just because something is not your personal ideal or body type doesn't automatically make it disgusting and disease ridden.
