Question about Weiner?

Why do otherwise intelligent, self-possesed LIBERAL DEMOCRATS feel they have to rush to defend HUMA'S HONOR? PLEASE, it's almost as insulting as her DH's original stupid dick move (literally). Huma doesn't need your misplaced outrage and chivalry. She's not some maiden in a tower. Let her clean her own house for goodness sakes. Democrats really need to stfu on this. But we won't stop until we've stomped ourselves right into a corner, as usual. No f*cking loyalty, or sense of proportion, whatsoever dems.

The majority of public figures lie when confronted, because affairs, sex tapes, sex scandals are private matters.

So unless the blow job from their intern is preventing them from balancing the budget, ending the war, lowering unemployment, etc - I don't care.

ah, I disagree. When something big hits the fan, I want character in the person wielding power. Does that mean I want them perfect? No, but I want them to have the character to make the right decision.
I don't know if I care specifically about character so much as not wanting someone in office who has so much hubris they can't see how stupid they are. Dana Milbank had a great column in the WaPo this morning about how this tendency makes politicians pursue spectacularly stupid legislative strategies.

Hell, I would have volunteered to give Bush a blow job if it would have assisted him in making the right decision.

LOL!

She is not pretty. Those GUMS for one, yikes. His nose is just U-G-L-Y. Really people, these people are not even remotely attractive. Yuck. Even if he were semi-cute (and he is NOT), his behavior makes him look like a complete troll anyway.

What the hell is your point? Who the fuck cares what she LOOKS like? You people commenting on her looks are just as big of scumbags as Weiner is. You have the same stupid-ass mentality.

Are you also calling for Vitter the family guy happy hooker to also resign?

Totally agree with you.

You're probably an anti-semite so, whatever.

Are you serious?! Some of the best-looking guys I know are Jewish and/or born in Israel. I just happen to think he's homely.

Lol, is this along the lines of "some of my best friends are_______..." ? If you are the PP who said sorry to say this ethnically insensitive thing... then, I really don't care if you find that someone looks "too jewish" for you. You can just not find him attractive--but a guy like this is a FREAK and some women really like to fool around with a freak. The guy wedding was officiated by the number one freak of all time, Bill Clinton. Power and confidence make the panties drop.

Your post made me laugh out loud. Particularly the part about Clinton. Love it.

Okay, crazy person.

As someone with prominent gums, I take offense.

Seriously - what is your problem?

I find prominent gums to be almost irresistably, distractingly hot. I have the same attraction for slightly bucked teeth. On IHTT, one day we should have hotties with these features. I'd love it. I am turned on by unusual prominent features --it does not have to be some stupid, obvious GQ or Vogue magazine cut out. I'm the good looking one, he or she doesn't have to be...

No, not the majority. Only the majority of the ones who are cheating. Big difference. And it's pretty naive to think that a person's judgment and character can be contained in only one part of one's life. Live long enough, and you'll see that that's not true. Not to mention the time and focus of a man like Weiner--not on his job--he's too busy taking pictures and "communicating" with women other than his wife. Besides, you may think it's fine; but not even his own party members are defending him. He's gone . . .

Actually, it's probably the opposite. The ones that are protesting the most about Weiner are the ones who are cheating--it's just like with Clinton--one by one one, the sexual indiscretions of his loudest detractors were revealed--Hyde, Gingrich, etc. lame greasy losers all of them--even Gore was probably contemplating the death of his own marriage while scolding Clinton about blow jobs. It's either the dweebs who never can get any or it's the guys trying to look honorable in front of their long suffering wives who howl the loudest when this type of scandal is uncovered.

Your cynicism is showing. I know many people who do not cheat on their spouses; they have strong, loving marriages but are not "dweebs." Simply put, their spouses and marriages are important to them.

Men who had plenty of sex before their marriage and who are sexually satisfied in their marriages do not obsess over who else is showing their c*ck to random women. How does this affect their marriage or life in general? It does not. For the dweebs among us, it seems to drive them insane that anyone else is having sex. DWEEBS.

Hello!! No one cares about how much sex they have, but sending pics of your erect "member" is not having sex . . . and it's hardly appropriate for a person in public office . . . as you'll soon see . . .

Agree, she is from a conservative muslim family and did not show her arms until recently. Her family must be outraged. It is hard when you defend your spouse from your family (assumption), and then the spouse ends up embarrassing you or prooving them right.
