Question about Weiner?

I care about them doing their job, and in my opinion promiscuity and being a shitty spouse doesn't factor into the equation. The majority of public figures lie when confronted, because affairs, sex tapes, sex scandals are private matters.

So unless the blow job from their intern is preventing them from balancing the budget, ending the war, lowering unemployment, etc - I don't care.

ah, I disagree. When something big hits the fan, I want character in the person wielding power. Does that mean I want them perfect? No, but I want them to have the character to make the right decision.

Bush never cheated on his wife. that anyone knows of, but is responsible for thousands of deaths due to his foolhardy, Quixotic wars. Weiner likes to e-mail his privates to people but full-out supported the Zadroga bill. I prefer to have Weiner in the govt than Bush.

No, not the majority. Only the majority of the ones who are cheating. Big difference. And it's pretty naive to think that a person's judgment and character can be contained in only one part of one's life. Live long enough, and you'll see that that's not true. Not to mention the time and focus of a man like Weiner--not on his job--he's too busy taking pictures and "communicating" with women other than his wife. Besides, you may think it's fine; but not even his own party members are defending him. He's gone . . .

Actually, it's probably the opposite. The ones that are protesting the most about Weiner are the ones who are cheating--it's just like with Clinton--one by one one, the sexual indiscretions of his loudest detractors were revealed--Hyde, Gingrich, etc. lame greasy losers all of them--even Gore was probably contemplating the death of his own marriage while scolding Clinton about blow jobs. It's either the dweebs who never can get any or it's the guys trying to look honorable in front of their long suffering wives who howl the loudest when this type of scandal is uncovered.

The only thing that I would say that changes my mind is when those who get their dicks caught on film are the one's preaching morality to others. Then, you gotta go.

Your cynicism is showing. I know many people who do not cheat on their spouses; they have strong, loving marriages but are not "dweebs." Simply put, their spouses and marriages are important to them.

"Narcissism doesn’t begin to describe this kind of behavior. It seems there was nobody he didn’t lie to. The New York Times reported this morning that he told donors a week ago that the scandal was the result of a “vast right-wing conspiracy” and that “everything [would] be fine"

in a crisis, I'd 1000 times rather have Bush in charge than a sociopath like Weiner.

Perhaps we could hope for better than Bush and better than Mr. Frankfurter. If Mr. Hot Dog cares even a little that his wife's pregancy be successful, he must resign.

Hell, I would have volunteered to give Bush a blow job if it would have assisted him in making the right decision.

We saw where Bush & company got us when the shit hit the fan. AWOL for three days then attacked a country that had no connection to the attack.

Men who had plenty of sex before their marriage and who are sexually satisfied in their marriages do not obsess over who else is showing their c*ck to random women. How does this affect their marriage or life in general? It does not. For the dweebs among us, it seems to drive them insane that anyone else is having sex. DWEEBS.
