This isn't really the best advice, as there are clearly Christian families who don't go to church on Sunday mornings and non-Christian families who still don't want to go to a party on Sunday morning. I think it's perfectly reasonable to take a general poll of other moms on DCUM.

Interesting and reasonable but likely not all that meaningful for the given situation.

Yes, sure. I don't think God stops loving you if you miss church once in a while. If this is the best time for the family to have the party they should go forward.

Please have good coffee and breakfast stuff for the parents though!
