Would you go to a birthday party on a Sunday morning?

I might come, we don't do church. But maybe early afternoon would be a better bet depending on the kids' ages.

12:15 here. To answer your question, we would like to have somewhere to go on a Sunday. We plan a fun activity for Saturday and usually are at a loss for something to do with our toddler when he starts getting restless at around 10am Sunday morning, so we'd be there.

"Its an annoying and really umb thing to say"

No more annoying and really (d)umb than "if you want to go and aren't doing anything, how is this really a question? if you don't want to go, for whatever reason, even if you just don't feel like it, don't go....."

I'm an every-Sunday churchgoer who would skip for a child's party if my kids really wanted to attend. In fact, we are skipping church this Sunday for this very reason.

We would go. Morning would be better than afternoon for younger children because we still have naptime.

Just think about it for a minute.

Your reply makes no sense. I was referring to a stupid comeback you made as a whole, not a post someone wrote for the OP. So yes, different situations. I will let OP get back to reading her responses now. Sorry for interjecting.

We go to church regularly but our church (Catholic) has Saturday and even Sunday evening services, so I wouldn't think anything of it... but I think it really depends on the crowd. If you know the church thing isn't an issue with your invitees than I see no reason not to.

Another every week church goer here and yes we would attend and have attended Sunday morning parties. We usually go to the 8am mass so are back home long before most parties would start. We have also opted to go to church Sat eve in order to make going to a party workable.

If you know that some of the people being invited typically goe to church on Sunday ask them what time would work for them. Or better yet tell them the time you were thinking of and ask if that was ok.

Sorry, I misread and thought it said she wasn't a churchgoer. Carry on.

Wow, OP- I bet you didn't think such a benign question would stir up such emotion! To answer your question, yes, we would absolutely come (providing it was at 10:00 or later). Enjoy your party!
