Childhood obesity is a serious problem. It's a "Safe", motherly type issue for her to tackle. Drugs and literacy have been done. I don't have a problem with her charity of choice, so to speak.

Now if she was canvassing for Planned Parenthood or something I could see your complaint....

How is childhood obesity a charity?

It's not. Substitute "cause" for "charity".

Sarah Palin smells good and everybody knows it. B.O. smells horrible and Michelle, his children, and the White House press core are well aware of it. Todd Palin is plenty attractive to obtain Sarah or any masseuse he would like. Al (sex poodle) Gore is found to be disgusting, leering, portley, sloppy, physically repulsive, mentally creepy by his masseuse...Guys and Gals be conservative, it's just more attractive.

Oh please. We aren't saying this just because she's old. (although she is). To be sure, Bar doesn't give a rat's ass what you or anyone on this forum thinks of her.

Politically, I didn't like Bush 41 or 43 and I wasn't wild about Bar but she is tough and one of the reasons is that she had to watch one of her children and she was helpless even with all their money. She gets my respect for this. Being able to read and write is the foundation of a child's life. Obesity is a choice because even if you don't have a lot of money you can still have feed your children healthy meals and not take them to fast food joints. I also liked Laura Bush. She was poised, had a good sense of humor and wouldn't put up with W's drinking and gave him an ultimatum.--Jack Daniels or me.

Yes, we will die early or age. Personally, I prefer to age gracefully as Barbara Bush has done. Gray hair, gained weight, but feisty, gracious, intelligent. I hope I am doing that well at her age.

Ha! One look at the College Republicans on any campus in America will disprove that notion.

There aren't any college republicans. College students are dependants. Dependants are almost always democrats. If the kid is paying his own way he is way too busy for weenie political clubs. College conservatives are trying to figure out how to make money or entering beauty contests like Sarah.

That's funny, because College Republicans is an organization that exists, and the people who join it say they are Republican. I guess your party has a bunch of worthless dependents running around. Byut yhe bigger question is why they are so darned unattractive?
