More MAGA projection. You people are so far gone, it would be sad, but the negative impacts of your delusions have become to dire to ignore. Get help. You nutjobs are destroying the country. |
Okie sure. 99.99% of entertainers in this country are willing to be associated with the left and a fraction of 1% is willing to be associated with the right but the left is the problem. |

Who remembers this:
Michael Jordan's most infamous political statement is the quote "Republicans buy sneakers, too". It is often cited to explain his refusal to endorse Black Democrat Harvey Gantt in the 1990 North Carolina U.S. Senate race against incumbent Republican Jesse Helms. |
|
I didn’t know who this guy was until this morning because he’s trending on Threads. But it seems like a guy who makes his entire shtick about weaponized incompetence (and a forthcoming movie to boot!) is obviously MAGA.
|
And in the past, people around famous artists swept all the bad behavior or worse- rapes and child-molesting -under the rug so the public wouldn't know about it and the money would keep rolling in. Nope. We are not going to pretend artists who make bad choices (or worse) didn't do those things so ethically challenged people can enjoy their work guilt free. Those days are gone. |
Entertainers, and that includes sports stars, can say and do whatever they please. And the public can do the same. If you want to buy Michael Jordan sneakers, go ahead. If you want to listen to this comedian, go ahead. And for those that choose other sneakers or want to listen to some other comedian instead of this Maga dude, they have every right to do so. |
Sure. And I'm not badgering you for not wanting to watch all of the media I happen to like. See how that works? |
Exactly. Nobody's saying you can't watch him, just that they won't. Somehow this is super triggering to the MAGA-loving snowflakes. |
Is it? They probably love that he's now out of the Maga closet. They think watching this guy is now owning the libs which is seemingly their favorite thing to do. Who cares if it results in screwing over their families and their country by electing corrupt crooks into office? |
I grew up in NC and everybody idolized Michael Jordan, quote or not. We didn't know it at the time, but the chip on his shoulder that made him a basketball legend also made him a world-class jerk. He had the benefit of playing before the 24/7 news cycle and social media. If he played in modern times he would have been a polarizing figure like LeBron James. |
Jordan was similar to Bargatze in that he cared a whole lot more about selling shoes than he did about politics or stupid Republicans or Democrats when he was Bargatze's age. Bargatze is not a political person. He is a UFC fan. He laughs at all the silly low IQ duped Republicans and Democrats just as many of is other normal people do. |
I don't think folks that really care about "selling" embrace Maga. That is not a minuscule market, but it is so much smaller than the non-maga market. He can do whatever he wants but risking the giant non-maga market does not seem like a smart business strategy. |
You're correct and if he had it do over it again, Im sure he'd skip this UFC event due to the location. This being said; attending this particular event doesn't automatically qualify someone as MAGA and neither does having a photo taken with other celebrities who are MAGA.. Only someone as dumb as a MAGA would think such a silly thing. |
Actually, the photos thing is a problem. He wasn't there as Joe Blow with a ticket. He was inside hobnobbing with awful people at Trump's bithday celebration. |
Okay. Sounds like a reason to move on and not pay him any attention. Also, if you're going to be referencing "low IQ," get your ducks in order with English grammar first. Here you go: https://www.education.com/resources/english-language-arts/grammar-mechanics/ |
