Winners coming back from the Olympics will definitely be caught by medal detectors

Apparently, PG county invested in metal detectors .. and has metal detectors in all high schools and some middle schools.

That has not prevented them from dealing with gun problems in PG County Schools though....

that's the thing, it does not prevent a shooting in the parking lot or down the street.

Our schools do have officers. Wootton has a full time SRO.

MCPS learned nothing from Magruder. The reunification chaos and confusion was a major part of the after-action report MCPS delivered and it seems like they have not improved.

Well Frost is just a short walk over the hill. But why walk them to Frost to be picked up? Why not just load up the buses and get them on their way home? I don't understand what going to Frost accomplishes.

Roads surrounding Wootton may still be closed. Getting to Frost provides alternate routes out.
