Also, my DH works for a company that would very much call the police if they had you on camera dumping anything in their commercial dumpsters.

It's called illegal dumping.

You’re citing a junk hauling company’s website. This is not evidence that the police care at all about a stray poop bag. (They don’t.) And the police also won’t do anything about other de minimis trash. What they might take seriously is a contractor disposing of meaningful amounts of waste in someone’s trash can or dumpster.

Since you are clearly incapable of reading I'll post the actual law (also referened in the link I provided).

https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacode/title33.2/chapter8/section33.2-802/

If I call them, they will certainly act on it.

Hahahaha. It’s also illegal to trespass and to door check people’s cars, and FFX County police didn’t care at all when I reported it. I’m begging you to make this report, honestly.

They won’t do it. All talk and no action.

You’re a fool! I will 100% call and so will most of the business if they catch you. Keep rolling the dice. People like you are disgusting and shouldn’t be allowed to have pets.

Turn on a body cam during all interactions, please.

Hahahahaha. Although I'm quite sure the PP is such a nudge that she didn't even realize she made a funny.

Aside from the two posters who seem to be having a personal argument, can’t dog owners either use a public trash can that is clearly marked for public use or carry the poop bag home to their own trash?

Long time dog owner and I never understand why this continues to be an issue. If there are no public trash cans, my poop bag comes home with me. My dog, my issue. Not for any neighbor’s trash can, not for a business’ dumpster, not to leave at the trail head for me to pick up on my return.

It’s not rocket science to be a responsible and considerate pet owner.

Well it's nice to know you live in a house with a full size dumpster out front. Not likely that's near my neighborhood as I don't live in some nasty neighborhood.

You’re so desperate and pathetic. It shows.

I’m sure that your neighborhood is going downhill because of you.

Because people used to care about being people and good neighbors. Now they are under a delusion that they are the only ones who matter.

Also, so many people adopted dogs during the pandemic that they hate taking care of, so they inflict their selfishness onto all of us.

Anonymous wrote:Similar but not the same. I walk past a public park on my walk with my dog. The park has like eight trash cans. I will toss the poop bag in those trash cans. If people can put their kids dirty diapers and their leftover picnic food in the trash cans, I should be allowed to throw away my dog’s poop bag in it.

Yes, I live in NYC and put my dog’s poop bags in public trash cans. So does everyone else.
