Penny wise pound foolish. Every dollar parents have to spend for after care (or lost bc of time off) during these stupid half days is a dollar less parents donate to the school. I suspect that annual giving takes a real hit bc it pisses off parents so much.

If it’s the school I think you’re referring to in alexandria city, that school also claims to be pro military family. What better way to support military families than to have numerous half days while military members are working difficult schedules or are deployed. What a crock.

You are the wrong one dear. Top Catholic high schools in the DMV are sending 20%+ to top 25 universities. Top public high schools are only sending 5% to the same schools. Nice try though.
