Yes. Pertussis is horrible, don't get me wrong -- it's awful to watch whooping babies turning blue as they try to draw in a breath. Moreover, it's not called the "100 days cough" for nothing. But for all the horribleness of it, the challenge stays pretty steady through that time.

Natural selection didn’t stop just because we invented vaccines. Babies are dying now, truly innocent babies. But most are the spawn of anti-science, anti-social anti-vaxxers. Their parents couldn’t make reasonable risk assessments, they took a gamble, and they lost. Now their genes will not be passed on by that child.

We have a lot more of this before we’ll be done. For every death there will be hundreds who are going to suffer for life and will probably die young. Again, reducing the odds those genes will be passed on.

Dear Lord. We let in hoards of people from third world countries with questionable vaccine records. Of course these diseases (like TB) are making a comeback

Also outbreaks of vaccine preventable diseases are directly related to lower vaccine rates by region. We have plenty of immigrants in urban areas but high vaccination rates mean it isn't issue. US citizens need to vaccinate their darn kids rather than blame immigrants for US created problems because of lax vaccination.

I had one vaccine listed outside of the consolidated record and you would better believe that the school nurse followed up with me to make sure I sent proof of that last vaccine.
