Hmm…a local group fighting neo-Nazis. Yeah, sounds “evil.” /s |
People who went to fight against fascism in Spain were called premature anti-fascists. As for Antifa, this might be useful: https://www.isdglobal.org/explainers/us-antifa-groups/ I found the Antifa Handbook online. IDK what I thought it was, but basically it's a history. . . going back to the Dreyfus affair in France. It's also much more dispersed than a single organization or ideology. |
It's not a big leap from the terrorist designation to targeting anyone who expresses or acts on antiracist, anti-ICE, anti-transphobic, etc beliefs or opinions. The plan is already to shut them out of federal employment via loyalty tests. |
Ask Charlottesville they sued 2 antifa groups who battled it out at the Unite the right with right wing activists |
Ah, the old "paid protestor" canard. |
Do you have a case citation? All I can find is the lawsuit by 9 plaintiffs who were injured by the alt-right people, who sued specific alt right organizers and won. And indictment of organizers under federal anti-rioting statutes. Those cases were dismissed but new charges were filed later. |

Only the fascists are scare of anti-fascists. |

funny how everyone is ignoring the blacks and Japanese-Americans and Jews and women who served in WWII. I guess it was a whites-only, men-only military that saved the world for democracy. . . or something. (Women didn't just do nursing, including on battlefield medevac flights, they also flew air transport) |
Yeah, there is a certain poster here that is so pro-fascist that they are willing to sully the reputation of veterans that have their lives for their country. I wonder if he’s also ratting people out like a good like sniveling Nazi for having an opinion about current events. |
