I’m all for fighting fascism, but this ridiculous narrative that the men fighting for the US were somehow similar to modern day Antifa is absurd.

This post is clarifying. Antifa=support LGBTQ and anti racism; profa=do not support LGBTQ and pro racism. I guess I already knew this but it’s nice to see a profa spell it out .

The point is that world war II wasn't German fascist versus American anti-fascists. It was German fascists versus American fascists.

The idea that "counterrevolutionaries" were secretly undermining the Communist Party was made up but it didn't stop Stalin from using it as an excuse to send anyone he didn't like to the gulags.

This is exactly the same thing we're worried about. That this made up organization will become a label to be pinned on anyone the administration wants to make disappear.

If there were so many illegal immigrants, and particularly "bad hombres" then why is ICE focused on people who have jobs, are here legally and in some cases, are natural born US citizens? seems like it should be super easy to find all the actual illegals and deport them, rather than green card holders and people legally in the system.
