This is the intellectually dishonest, annoying meme ever. These WW2 vets you mentioned would be cancelled today for their views on gender roles, LGBTQ issues, race, etc. Equating some Midwest GI who stormed Normandy with some antifa member with pronouns in their bio, septum piercings and blue hair is ridiculous.

People who went to fight against fascism in Spain were called premature anti-fascists.

I found the Antifa Handbook online. IDK what I thought it was, but basically it's a history. . . going back to the Dreyfus affair in France. 
It's also much more dispersed than a single organization or ideology.
