Man Arrested in NW for Filming National Guard

Anonymous
He got arrested for disobeying an order. Then he resisted the arrest so they got him on that. Then he ran his foul mouth. They probably got something on that. But no one knows what was said prior to the video posted.

They is in court right now, courtroom C10, awaiting the docket. I’m here watching.

When did he threaten the police?

When did assault an officer?!

I hope this video is shown in court and laughed at by the judge.

I hope the full video is shown in court including the preceding 5 minutes where the officers told the clown to get across the street multiple times. But we’ll never see that part.

You are just guessing that that is what happened?

DC is a one party consent jurisdiction. He can record anything he can hear.

Yes, from a safe distance. He was arm’s length from law enforcement who were arresting some. Given the very real threat that law enforcement has faced in recent months it was completely reasonable for the MPD officer to direct the guy to move away. That’s how 80% of the country will see this. Stop stepping on the rake.

+1 If the officer told him to move and he didn't, then the arrest is lawful.

Most of the country doesn't think the way DC and other blue stronghold areas think. The law doesn't support many of the the wild liberal assertions on this board either. More leftist feelings and my truth rather than facts . . .

Police need to be held accountable for false arrests

They are not above the law and they hate that we can now watch them doing their jobs. Every single one of them needs a body cam on all the time. If they turn it off on duty they are fired.

Remind me again why no one wants to be a cop in DC?

If they're following the law then they don't have anything to be concerned about.

The order has to be lawful.

We aren’t all obedient little doggies trying to get a treat.

You sound…un-American. Americans used to tar and feather officials when they stepped out of line just to remind them they had a public they were accountable to.

The sort of meekly submitting mindset belongs to the Russians and other inferior and debased cultures.

That was hilarious!!!

Bearded white liberal man thought his white privilege and ally-status would allow him to just ignore the police telling him to move back.

He learned the rules apply to him too. Then he acted out and caught a couple more charges.

He found out, lolz!!!

Wait until they come for you, overgrown child. Thought you could play at fascism and survive? Lolz. Not for long.

Yes even if the “law” is made up. Only maga is above the law. Like on Jan6 or Trump’s employee Epstein.

Some employers fire their employees if they get arrested during off hours for little things like this.

It's ludicrous to suggest that following the law - that has been in place for a long time for good reason - is un-American.

But you know what DOES sound un-American? Supporting anti-American terrorist groups and obstructing attempts to secure our borders.

What an un-American thing to say. Americans have the First American right to tell police to F themselves and say whatever they want as long as they don't threaten violence. If this dude would have threatened violence on those pigs, they would have arrested him way earlier than what was recorded. These pigs are going to prison in 2029.

lol this is a common “law enforcement” tactic. So the cops give an order they do not have the authority to give- stop filming. The cop’s next move is to aggressively arrest the individual while yelling stop resisting. The cause of the arrest the cop did not like being filmed. Now the victim has two felonies. Usually these are dropped in plea deals but this will go to trail and the jury will nullify all charges.

You mean like not following the constitution? Seems the federal government and republicans does are done with that.

We all are in favor of going after anti American terrorists groups like Jan6’ers but they got pardoned and pay outs. Right now Texas and Florida are sanctuary states because there is no ICE enforcement there.

For that to happen, means that you will have already been occupying a crowded mass grave for many, many years.

Because a fascist dictatorship - which you assure us this is, right? - isn’t going to come after people like ME who support them, while leaving people like you around. So you’ll be long gone before anyone ever even thinks about rounding ME up.

Chew on that, kitten.
