Noticable reduction in homeless and tents in DC, what about libaries and metro?

Who is going to pay for that? If they don't have insurance, hospitals can't take them for free.

OK and you're ok paying for that with your tax dollars? I would love to actually send these people to rehab, mental health places, training programs for the ones who can actually get a job. All of that costs a lot of money. I'm find with paying for it. are you?

I'm fine with paying for it too, but I'm not the pp. I think we should tax all the billionaires and get universal health care to help a lot of these people. And I'm fine with paying my share of the taxes to do it.

Most of the homeless people i encounter are elderly and often struggling mentally as well.

They need a safe place to live longterm and healthcare. So many with abscesses on their feet and missing teeth from lack of health and dental care.
