I pressed submit too soon. The point is, you can get away with not being as nice because money can make up for strong community ties and friendships, at least to a certain extent.

And if you are a rich man who wants to date, that money can help give you access to women, so you don't hav to be as nice.

OP is probably average at best appearance wise and always leads with her wallet. A wealthy guy doesn't need her money so is more concerned about what she brings to the table physically and personality wise. If she was super hot or anywhere close she'd have plenty of good choices.

I think OP is pretty. Rich men won’t bother inviting out anyone not cute. Also, there if a negative section : pretty women more often are hit on by wealthier men who are more confident

Aholes attract Aholes, it’s like a magnetic pull. My husband and many of his friends are very wealthy and none of them are Aholes. Now it helps that none of them were born into wealth so they worked hard to build their wealth and they don’t flaunt it. My husband is very much into preserving wealth and not flaunting it because we have adult kids, grandchildren and charities that he wants to make sure they are ok. His guy friends are the same way.
