“My husband is so hot!”

“Ha, ha. That’s an Inside-Your-Head thought.”

Or just, “Awkward.”

I usually dont jump to jealousy, but seriously, if hearing something nice about someone else makes you upset, it definitely sounds like jealousy.

I admit that I have this thought all the time but never voice it. No one other than my dh cares at all!

How about something like “I know, he’s really packin”

There are some people who are always commenting on other people’s hotness, regardless of age or marital status. I found it awkward when I was younger and looking and being looked at. Now I feel badly for adults who can’t keep inside thoughts in their own heads.

I hope you tell him often!

I wouldn't think anything of it/would be happy for her. So many women vent and complain about their dumpy idiot husbands (despite the fact that they made the dumpy idiotic decision to marry him) that I think it's great when a spouse isn't complaining. I'd just say 'good for you- it's healthy and normal to find your spouse attractive' and move on.

It is massively cringe. If your husband is really notably and exceptionally hot (and I hang around a lot of dads...it's unlikely!), people will notice without you saying it.

If it was true, she's probably heard it before. Teen girls absolutely joke about and with their friend(s) who have a "hot dad."

Things I NEVER did as a teen girl and I've never heard my teen daughter do.

That is f-ing weird.

+ 1,000,000. 50% barf and 50% a creepy old dad wishes.

“He sure is! Those eyes just stare into your soul, and you could bounce a quarter off that ass. Plus his crooked smile….”with a dreamy sigh.

She won’t do it again.

She will if she’s trolling for new swapping partners.

Tell her you are interested and do not consent

I see what you did there. Confuse her and make her chase you.

I would find hanging around someone like this super annoying, but otherwise would not let it get under my skin.

When she says this next time you can simply politely smile then redirect the conversation after that!
