He’s calling it “center” but his actions have been extreme right libertarian. He can say what he want but until there is a visible platform we should assume his party would be the same as him: Low - no taxes Minimal safety net Anti worker Anti environment (his factories and blown up rockets are huge polluters Isolationist Anti trans People can decide themselves if their values again. |
Phase 1: Support Thomas Massie
Phase 2: ? Phase 3: Profit |
Seems like MAGA without the fake Christianity. |
You really have a warped sense of reality where the dems are concerned. THEY are the ones who fund the law Enforcement in legislation (the GOP opposes) THEY are the ones who fight for workers rights, safe working conditions, minimum wages, etc (the GOP opposes) THEY are the ones who fight for civil rights. (GOP opposes) That you couch these things as identity politics and soft on crime is just showing your true perspective. Oh and the GOP is responsible for the majority of the national debt, not the Dems. |
Basically. Probably actually lower government spending to go along with it too, unlike Republicans who are still spending Willy-nilly despite not taxing enough. |
Republicans vote felons into the White House. They are not law and order. |
His strategy is also to look for strategic places he can win (vs. going all-in nationally) to create a dynamic where they'd help decide what legislation passes or not. |
It’s going to fail. |
Well that's a given, my friend. ![]() |
It should be interesting. He will be able to pay more for votes than anyone else ever has, so it'll be interesting to see how this goes. He can do an unlimited amount of those million dollar voting lottery prizes. Crazy. |
Leave it to the democrats to spread fake news. |
They aren’t even trying to train the bots. |
Elon's America Party is driven by the business interests of $TSLA and SpaceX:
- Economically a globalist (go H1B! and go China!) - Culturally, tilting towards promoting immigrants (as seen from the top Tesla brass) - Politically taking Trump and MAGA out as the majority - The goal is to get back the $448 billion clean energy subsidy that Trump and the GOP dared to take away - Elon will succeed in fracturing Trump's MAGA coalition after the midterms - Elon amassed his vast fortune under Democrats' EV mandate, so it makes sense that he is going home. - We should be surprised at how long he has put up with MAGA, as his interests were never aligned with MAGA, but the big green energy push (at prices of everyone else). |
So, do we think this will siphon voters from current Republicans (either disaffected MAGA or “traditional” business Republicans)? Or will it’s opposition to Trump siphon from the Democrats? |
MAGA is home for the disgusting billionaires. |
