Democrats aren’t a centrist party - they’re the identity politics/soft on crime/pork barrel spending/don’t like white men party. I say this having never voted republican since I started voting in 1992.

You really have a warped sense of reality where the dems are concerned.

THEY are the ones who fund the law Enforcement in legislation (the GOP opposes)
THEY are the ones who fight for workers rights, safe working conditions, minimum wages, etc (the GOP opposes)
THEY are the ones who fight for civil rights. (GOP opposes)

That you couch these things as identity politics and soft on crime is just showing your true perspective.
