This. Gambier is sleepy (to be generous) but Wiggin Street Coffee is great. I expect my future Owl to be spending a good bit of time there. |
Ann Arbor's coffee options are aggressively mid. Prepare to be disappointed; I always am. The PP who suggested panera was not far off--it won't get much better than that, unless you go to detroit which has AMAZING and ABUNDANT coffee shops with the best coffee, pastries, and overall vibes. |
Any recommendations in Ithaca? We went to Bank Coffee, and it was meh. |
I love Hohl. It’s nice that Williamsburg finally has a really well-designed, high-end coffeeshop. I’m looking forward to move-in in part because I’ll get to go back. |
Kaldi's Coffee in St. Louis at WashU. |
Ann Arbor -
I did not go to school there. We have family there though so visit frequently. It’s not a college coffee shop though, but I really like the coffee and pastries at Argus Farm Stop on Liberty. Also one on Packard, near Washtenaw. They also sell bread, vegetables, granola, flowers, and local Michigan farm products so it may be the full farm stop experience I love the most. |
Hohl for sure but illy is also good |
Ann Arbor is so overrated as a college town. |
I stop for coffee at Collegetown Bagels. |
Any recommendations for Eugene, Oregon? |
Coupa (multiple locations, incl on campus) and/or Zombie Runner (Cal Ave) while at Stanford |
Someone recommended Collegetown Bagels in an earlier response. |
Thank you! We’ve heard great things about Collegetown Bagels, but I didn’t link it to also being about coffee. |
I recommend Gallery Expresso for the Savannah College of Art & Design. |
I’m enjoying this thread. Nice to have a thread that’s happy and neutral for the most part. |
