The trend is... the majority of DCPS school leaders are black and lots of DCPS school leaders suck, so there is overlap? My school's principal is terrible, trashed on this board all the time and... is white. I really don't think it's a racial thing. It's a DCPS is incompetent thing. Do you know anything about the CHML principal and how she's covered up/minimized serious issues multiple times? Criticism of her is not racist. It's correct. |

Nice try but no. It has nothing to do with the color of her skin and has everything to do with how she poorly runs the school. |

White parent at a Title I school with an AMAZING black female principal. Familiar with PA through friends and from visiting CHML as a prospective parent. All these two educators have in common is that they are black female DCPS principals. Our principal is in a different (and far better universe) than PA. I'm not trying to diminish the idea that people of color are often viewed as less competent than equally competent white people in every profession, including school leaders. That's real and it sucks. But that's not what's going on in this particular instance. PA is truly a disaster and I think the people calling her out aren't doing so because of her race. |

| When will people learn that just because a school is predominately black does not mean it is a bad school. This was in reference to the person who said that the children are “running amok”. Certain people always seem to take issue whenever black children do anything but are quiet as a church mouse when white children display the same behaviors. If you don’t like what I said, too bad. |
