Oma? You used a German word for your grandmother? I'd watch out, someone might think you were a Nazi sympathizer. I don't know what you're doing on this board anyway. Don't you need to get busy sewing your underwear up a little tighter? I mean, children in Darfur are dying without underwear, for god's sake. |
Did you use google? Oma is not only the word for grandmother in Germany...but as a typical American you speak of things you don't know. It's ok, I'm sure safe in your little suburban world you can judge people from afar. Nice for you. I wonder what kind of person mocks these things....someone who hates their life, and has nothing but hate inside them. I'm sad for you little person. |
Skokie, IL? What does that have to do with anything? |

skokie and nazis, oh yeah, and the constitution |
As I'm not from the USA, the reference was lost on me. However, I appreciate your wonderful educational experience into small town life. It sounds like Skokie (which you said you lived near...not in?) is a wonderful place to live....I assume that is why you moved? |
| 15:05 poster here. I posted the link on Skokie. I am not the same person who said she grew up near Skokie. |
What other kind of person mocks things, and hates their life? A small person? Yes, that's right! Don't make me say it! |
You know who ELSE won an election in November, 1932? Yeah, that's right! |
What your relatives did during World War II has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that all you have succeeded in doing is making a complete ass of yourself. I feel quite certain that anyone who survived a German concentration camp would find nothing amusing about Hitler or that making fun of him is appropriate because his image depicts absolute evil. I hope that you are simply immature and insensitive and that you will mature and understand that what you did is not funny. |
| Some of us had relatives die in concentration camps, you fucking idiot. Do we have to spell it out for you. It's just not funny. You are just not funny. But you are getting the attention you are clearly starving for. I'm sure you are still not happy, somehow. |

You know, in Maus, the famous comic book memoir of Holocaust survival, Art Spiegelman talks about his parents -- Holocaust survivors -- nicknaming him "Heil Hitler" because when he was a baby he would stick his arm up straight out of the crib in a little, you guessed it, Hitler salute.
All of which goes to say that there are some Holocaust survivors who can, in fact, joke about Hitler. And there are some who can't. Which doesn't take away from anyone's experience and feelings. So I think people posting and saying, in so many words, how dare you, or get the stick out of your ass, need to sit back and just consider that everyone feels differently and if you can joke about it, that's fine. If you can't, ok. Maybe you shouldn't come on the thread. But it's okay for others to joke about it. It doesn't make them evil. |
Also amusing many. You may carry on. |
So? You most likely were born decades after they died. You really don't get much sympathy for that. All of us have relatives that died, some horribly. Location is irrelevant. |
Oh, and how long before you call me a "fucking idiot" because you can't come up with a real argument? |

This thread has nothing to do with Hitler.
If The Idiot wants to start his own thread, he is welcome to do so. Hijacking others' threads with the icon of sheer hate is quite another idea altogether. Are you familiar with posting relevant to the topic at hand? Maybe someone should teach you computer basics. Maybe someone should teach you to have a shred of common sense. Though it is likely too late. Your anecdotes are not amusing, though you are easily amused. Perhaps someone should teach you humor without the expense of others. Or have you been made fun of for so long? Did you take history at your school? If so, this would not be funny to you. Stick or no stick, as you so profoundly put it. I thought there were supposed to be smart people in D.C. It doesn't seem so. If this made the Washington Post, would that make you happy? |
