Stone mill here as well, we fare pretty well with these options.

Not sure which part of Stone Mill you live in, it seems like number 2 is the best option for the old neighborhood.

Yes, option 2 is the best option. Next is 4.

4 is the best here. My kid's best friends are all at different nearby schools, and it seems like that there are high chance that they could meet at middle school and high school if option 4 is selected. Are these all final options? Kid is at K now, I wonder what is the chance that they will redraw school boundary next time?

Yes, option 2 is the best option. Next is 4.

It may work well for you, but with so many split articulations, they are very bad options. Continuing to have their good friends in the same school is helpful for adolescents' well-being, I believe.

Yes, depending on the option:

Option 1: Laytonsville ES - Neelsville MS - Gaithersburg HS

Option 2: no change/current cluster Laytonsville ES - Gaithersburg MS - Gaithersburg HS

Option 3: Laytonsville ES - Neelsville MS - Watkins Mill HS

Option 4: Laytonsville ES - Neelsville MS - Watkins Mill HS

---------------- no option for Baker/Damascus, which is what I hear most people in the Laytonsville area would like. I guess people will stick to private after ES, especially if Watkins Mill is chosen.

No, not final at all. Another round of options is coming in September, then maybe more after that.
