He did not start Tesla. Two engineers, Marc Tarpenning and Martin Eberhand founded and created Tesla. They came up with the designs and concepts but not enough financing to carry it all the way through. Elon came along two years into the creation and provided substantial funding and became the company’s lead fundraiser. He eventually pushed the founders out and became the face of the company. Starlink also was not a Musk original creation, but the man with the money controls the entire town.
