Word choice is different.
British say "that's very nice" Americans say "that's delicious" I don't see the brits as having a better vocabulary, just different word choice. Actually, I think my kids' peers have better a vocabulary by a wide margin for what I saw in the UK living there. |
I disagree. I live in the South and the kids here are just as bad in terms of manners. They’re unable to hold a conversation, maintain eye contact, etc. They’re mostly pretty feral. The exception is private school kids. The most expensive private schools do a great job of polishing their kids. |
