I had the same thought I was in Trader Joe’s the other day and they had the new Halloween ones. People were running to the back to get them. They’re so tiny what on earth do you put in them and they also don’t zip on top so things fall out. I’m all about cute things, but this is a total waste.

I don’t understand anything about Trader Joe’s except the flowers and the little peanut butter cups.

This is a bizarre consumerism thing. FWIW, when this thread came out in the spring I went to my local Midwest TJ’s and they were fully stocked with all colors. Did the same a few days ago and there is no run on them here. Maybe I should buy them and resell to y’all! Haha

Something to put your hard to find Stanley Cup in alongside a Beanie Baby

I’m with you (I don’t know about their peanut butter cups). I’ve never understood the TJ hype. Most of their food is highly processed crap. The stores and small and too crowded. I just don’t get it.

+3

Do they zip? No

Do they hold a lit of items? Eh, nothing impressive.

Are they wide? No

Are they insulated? No.

Do you get a store discount when you use them? No.

And I have a million tote bags already in the hall closet.

Can anyone explain what these are for?

I think people like miniature things because of the cute factor. It's like a teddy bear bag charm. You could use them instead of wrapping paper for a small present? I looked up the Halloween ones and thought maybe they'd have pumpkins on them or something but they're not interesting. Not my thing to buy them anyway.

You could use it to keep the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE.

As a family with multiple food allergies, Trader Joe’s is awesome. They call out hidden allergens that other stores typically don’t.I worry a lot less about hidden gluten at Trader Joe’s. It’s the only place I know to get sandwich meat made without celery powder. It’s the only place I know to get gluten free doughnuts. I can get cauliflower rice in multiple flavors, which breaks up the monotony of eating around multiple food restrictions.
