Democrats are in love with themselves and their policies and can’t ket any of them go, no matter how destructive to iur electiral prospects

pp, I am annoyed at everyone else on this thread. I’ll keep an open mind about corey booker. I am pretty good at spotting when things are going downhill (I spotted hillary a couple of weeks out from the election and pfft… I called trump from the gate).

While it’s easy for me to spot the loser, it’s harder for me to spot the winner. I guess that is why I’m not a billionaire.

The last election was never a close call. She had one good week. When Obama started publicly chiding Black Men… Well,It was funny-sad at that point in time.

There’s nothing at stake to win or lose from Booker’s not-quite-a-filibuster. It’s about getting the recent lunacy, dysfunction, and dismantling of the federal government into the Congressional record, and to give hope to sane, rational people in the face of the most audacious gaslighting ever undertaken by a presidential administration.

Regardless of which political side you're on, we can all admire the stamina.

Thurmond was filibustering against integration. It would be nice to see someone beat that disgusting man’s disgusting record.

But this doesn’t count as a filibuster, so that will have to happen another time.

And that’s just one channel. It’s being streamed on his personal channel and several media outlets. I’d imagine the total viewing is closer to 90-100K. This is amazing!!!!! This is Democrats doing something and not just throwing their hands in the air and complaining that they’re not in the majority. They need to leverage every element of power and influence. Undermine and distract and “cause good trouble”….whatever it takes to hold the line!

I know Chris Murphy has been there all night. Has Michael Bennet - he looked tired. Booker is going! Keep tuning in.

Even at age 55, he still seems like that goofy college football player who was groomed for this role by the globalists via the Rhodes scholar program. He projects an unconvincing faux seriousness, and it just doesn’t quite work. This kind of fake-brave rambling grandstanding is very on brand for Cory.

ok we don't care MAGA.

Ha. Right . I grew up fairly “poor.” Lots of my family members are still lower middle class. My brothers own guns. I went to all state universities and did alright! I am still grappling.

Politics is just too important to me. I’m am okay with taking insults, but less likely to hurl them. We’ll get through this term.

You sound like a GD fool.

Dems are lucky you don’t take their insults personally. Less blue swing voters aren’t as tolerant as you are of snobby upper middle class striver Dems. It’s going to take mire than one term out of power for them to learn some manners and respect the voters.

I’m not the one yelling at experienced and committed Democratic Party campaign workers for daring to think the wrong thing.

It’s still a record for holding the Senate floor, rt?

I think, yes.

The filibuster record was a slime trail left by Ted Cruz trying to keep people from getting health care.

Oh P.S. I just re-read your question. None of my friends think that most extreme option—that he’s straight but gettin jiggy with hubby anyway. That would be true commitment! I WOULD vote for him if that was the case! No, the doubters assume the guys are platonic roommates

Trump won by less than two percent of votes. That is not a mandate and, yes, a close election.
