Not sure how much longer he can go. But I’m impressed. He wants to make it to noon and he probably planned well. But his voice is scratchy. |
Can the other NJ Senator filibuster for him |
Don’t think so. But he’s not reading green eggs and ham, he’s going through all the things Trump has done and the damage it’s doing. Other senators are helping by asking him questions. |
He’s invoking both Dems and GOP on the importance of NATO - including Rubio and Graham. |
Not an actual filibuster, no vote.
But glad someone in this party is taking a stand. Carry on, Mr. Booker! |

It’s all going into the record. I look forward to reading about this for a long time. Well-researched talking points and discussion. |
I’m loving this! I don’t care if he’s unmarried at 55. There are all kinds of families and ways to love in this great nation of ours |
Good. It precludes anyone in the Senate (maybe the House too?) from pretending they are unaware. They have a responsibility for knowing what’s in the record. |
Go Cory Booker! Stunning and brave |
Totally. When Cory Booker talks, people listen. |
And who is going to stand up next? Every Senator should be planning to do this. |
It’s a metaphor for the Democratic Party overall. We may not have the votes, but we definitely have complaints. And we WILL be heard. Go Senate Dems! You are our voice! |
He definitely has the stones. Good. Now would someone please replace Schumer with someone like Booker? |
Booker is it. |
