I think OP could get small town house in Greenbelt for his price.

East Bethesda homes, which are right downtown, for abut $1 million. Huge potential to increase.

Op here, i’m open to townhomes. Probably should’ve specified that.

Op here now this is a list! Thanks so much.

You are welcome. If you like this list, then check out this one too. That Oxon Hill bathroom is tiny. This is also recently redone and has two baths and seems much bigger.

Maybe the other PP can weigh in on the location. I'm not familiar with PG that much.

Op here, ive been in that general area quite a lot. Really like it and, there’s a catholic school for when I have a kid, I will have to look more seriously at that house.

Starter home lioke 500-600K or like just under 1m? People on DCUM will fall into both camps so your advice will be all over the map.

365k

At this price it’s easy. Search Redfin with that price plus the number of bedrooms. Look at houses you would consider buying. Then post asking about that neighborhood. There aren’t many left.

I think that the area surrounding Glenmont metro is one of the last potential growth areas in the county. Huge potential once they redevelop that old shopping center which eventually WILL happen. There are no more metro accessible areas left to develop once that neighborhood gets tapped.
