Yep. Those white guys were SO MAD.
Good. F those dudes.

Too bad nobody came to her help.

Yep and that video is going to continue to get more and more popular showing that county would rather drag a woman out for speaking up at what is supposed to be a Towne Hall.m, then pause and give her a moment to speak. Now they see why women don’t want their protection

That sheriffs office is getting initiates with calls and emails. That POS MC is a voice actor and “business blogger.”

Well, was.

When will Americans stop sitting politely and watching all of this unfold? We just sit and allow unidentified men accountable to no one drag off a citizen for speaking their disagreement at a town hall? Why didn't anyone else help her?

Wasn’t this the basis of MLK’s movement? Non- violence?

MLK was only successful because Malcolm X was off to the side threatening to kill people.

MLK was successful because Bull Conner attacked the peaceful protests. It brought attention to the protests that was lacking before. Ironic.

We can't learn, and we can't change, so we've pinned our hopes on...Trump becoming unpopular?

He beat the Bushes, he beat the Clintons, he beat the Bidens. He set records for most votes ever gotten by any Republican Presidential candidate in history in both 2020 and 2024. But surely the American people will soon embrace the disliked Democrats out of...anti-Trumpism?

No. Dems need to weaponize the discontent they way the GOP does. We have to out-propaganda them. It's unsavory, but true.

+1 politics of today

That's absolutely right. Being civil and trying to take the high road has gotten Democrats nowhere.

Please, there has been nothing of the "high road" in the last 4 years, it was a rollercoaster of extremes that were not solving any of the real problems facing majority of Americans. And the "nazi" hysteria is the Dem's version of the right wing "satanic panic"

[/b]Trump is doing exactly what he campaigned to do so why should people who voted for him later get upset? [/b]My guess is that the vast majority are people who never voted for him and would never vote for him.

As for the polls, are these the same polls who had Kamala Harris leading Trump?

He is doing exactly what he said he would do. And when people repeatedly point it out, including ALOT of Republicans, we were told he didn’t mean it and don’t take him literally. He won the election by telling his crazies what he was going to do and let his apologists con all the rest he didn’t mean it.

+1 this is what kills me. Why would you vote for someone where you don’t believe what they say? I would not vote for someone who plays around like that. What the president says matters. It seems like democrats believe him more than his own voters. I think he is going to attempt to do everything single think that he plays off has jokes. Greenland, Canada, the third term. He means it and is going to try to do it all.

My faith in American is pretty low. Some people are waking up mainly because they are getting hurt directly (leopard eating face types of people), see the feds working in the mine-turned office in Pennsylvania that was singled out by Musk. Rural Pennsylvania area where the federal gov is the main employer and 2/3 voted Trump. Now they are concerned they are going to be laid off and the entire area is facing economic ruin if this happens. Asked for which candidate she voted, an employee said she voted for Trump and when the journalist asked why she voted for Trump since he said he was going to shrink the feds as much as possible she responded “because i did not think he was going to fire me”. This is the tyles if people who got us here, a total imbecile who voted against her own interest to give Elon Musk and other multibillionaires a nice tax cut at her own expense but she did just because somebody else would have been screwed. Same for the Kansas farmers who used to sell their grains to USAID. When these people get personally hurt, then they will turn. Otherwise they DGAF like when they voted or they are actually happy. We have extended family in the farming midwest, ask me how i know

Reporting needs to press harder. Who exactly did they think he meant? Specifically. What do they know about how the government funding is allocated? Do they know which agency have the most, etc etc. I’m sick of these folks and there Woo is Me or seem to believe they are making it on there own as though the whole country is not connected. They call themselves the real Americans and real Patriots. Yet where are they as the country and its reputation are being ruined?

Isn’t that what happened in Idaho?

This is the Gestapo. OMG. What is happening to this country. This is just the beginning

In case you’re interested, here is a longer version from a different angle. People were trying to help and were actively blocked by others. It’s truly upsetting.

More info here. At least the “real police” (opposed to the sheriff who was there in plain clothes and off duty and who targeted the woman and ordered her removal) condemns the violent removal of the liberal protester. Why are sheriffs a political position anyways?? Seems like a setup for abuse and over-politicization.

Yes, she was brave. I've been to Coeur d'elane, ID and those are some of the scariest rednecks you can find in the US.

It says right there in the article that parents showed up at a school board meeting to defend him and demand the school be held accountable for not protecting the girls involved. So, yeah? The public didn’t like that situation either.

Lanhee Chen in Meet the Press is saying the complainers were "activists who never liked Trump.". I am so sick of lying MAGAS.

Dems were never THIS bad and it's not "hysteria" - MULTIPLE Republicans gave Nazi salutes at CPAC this week. Meanwhile there never actually was any real satanism in Dungeons & Dragons etc back in the day. Yet we're still stuck with these Nazi salutes.

My suspicion is that there will be minimal impacts that the public actually sees in the near term. Why? The vast majority of servants believe in what they do and are dedicated. Many will work longer hours to try to compensate for the losses in staff. And all federal agencies will triage, prioritizing the work that is likely to impact the most people and reducing or eliminating work that is still important but impacts fewer people.
