More info here.  At least the “real police” (opposed to the sheriff who was there in plain clothes and off duty and who targeted the woman and ordered her removal) condemns the violent removal of the liberal protester.  Why are sheriffs a political position anyways?? Seems like a setup for abuse and over-politicization.
