^public servants |
It was proven that the Loudoun school board meetings were flooded with dozens of right wing activists from North Carolina, Tennessee, and elsewhere who lied and pretended to be local school parents when they weren't, who disrupted school board meetings and made them too chaotic for school board to even speak or conduct business, who harassed, stalked and made incredibly violent threats toward school board members and so on. Since that was all fair game in Loudoun there should be no issue with GOP town hall meetings degenerating into chaos. |
You are all so delulu. Keep polling each other in every hole. |
Yes, public servants will try to do their best but it won't be minimal, and there's going to be breakage. There already is and we're barely into Phase I. For one, listen to the Department of Energy testimony going on currently - all of the issues they are already having with nuclear safety officials terminated, labs compromised, energy grid and infrastructure at risk, and so on because of the wildly swinging DOGE machete. It's already to the point of incredibly scary. |
Yeah not at all. The majority of us who for the past few years would work longer hours, take late meetings go the extra mile if you will, given the mandate to be in the office full time. As soon as our hours are done we are too. |
They were private security as yet unnamed. If there was a sheriff there, they should have left things up to him. |
Wasn’t that the sheriff in the video that actively told the private security guys to ‘handle’ the woman? The one that wouldn’t respond to her about who he was? |
So there was color of law. And if lawyers can prove people who yelled cheers were allowed to be loud and interrupt, but those who jeered were not, then it is absolutely content of speech and absolutely a Section 1983 claim. |
ABSOLUTELY!! The oft forgotten last line of the 1st Amendment… Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and TO PETITION THE GOVERNMENT FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES ACLU will have a field day on this one. 1st Amendment 🙌🏻 |
Marcy Wheeler has links to videos (some are local news broadcasts) from 7, including OK, GA (McCormick), OR, and CA.
Can't just say these are all lefties, in WI the local GOP committee asked their people to show up with signs. https://www.emptywheel.net/2025/02/23/no-kings-around-the-partisan-bend-on-doge-sic-and-ukraine/ |
Not really, and I voted for him. |
AMEN |
And yet, most people voted for someone else. |
I don't see that in the polls.....it dropped to 43% this week.....and it's early in his term. |
Yup hypocrites....they can do it but dems can't. Whelp those days are over people are done with MAGA nonsense. |
