I never understand people who root for big snowstorms, with the danger they pose and the disruption they cause.

NP and I don’t understand how people don’t love a snow storm.

Check your privilege.

You must not be concerned about the next paycheck as an hourly worker, or childcare for your kids or how your sidewalk will get shoveled because you’re not able bodied or if you will fall and slip on the ice all alone, how you will get down the sidewalk in your wheelchair, etc.

There’s nothing wrong with enjoying snow but comments like yours are completely tone deaf.

Don’t you ever get tired of your self righteousness? You can spend your time shoveling snow for elderly neighbors. But many people find joy in snow. And the constant ‘privilege’ and ‘tone deaf’ diatribes are getting old.

Np. Saying you “don’t understand” makes you sound clueless. Then people want to give you clues.

Because we have to work. Don’t work?

She don't work- she stuffs girl scout cookies in her face while "enjoying the snow" and probably doesn't even shovel in the required time b/c she lazy.

You all work from home anyway. Why do you care if it snows?

It’s hard to work with small children underfoot. Do you really not understand?
