I think ultimately we won’t stop going unless there is some organized boycott to support (and I get all the good reasons there wouldn’t be), it will just be less fun and kind of crappy to have to think about it. It’s just a real shame. If the content of one performance bothered you, you could just not go. Now that the whole thing is politicized, it taints everything.
