DeMatha is well coached! |
Goalie, Defense and Coaching much better and if they can keep it together they could make some noise in the WCAC. But they will need to score some more points and clear much better then they did last night. |
I wouldn't say exceptional. Bullis placed a lot of shots right to his stick. Most importantly, DM goalie couldn't make some throws on his clears and never looks to start transition. |

Was Dematha missing any important players? They had a shot at Bullis without their 2 best. They're going to need a lot more to break through this year in the WCAC. |
DeMatha had all their players/starters. They do need to clean things up as the offense was throwing balls away and not catching passes. The defense played well but still need to work on some technique, edging picks which led to the OT goal. Also, DeMatha normally plays two senior goalies as they split halves like last season. Not sure why they didn't play the other goalie in the second half as he is better on clears and always looks for transition. DeMatha needs more depth, and the offense needs to clean things up. Their best attackman on offense, PSU commit Matthew Beachley was pretty much neutralized last night by the Bullis poles. The real difference in this DeMatha team is the FOGO Dylan Kivett. It is the first time in 4 years that they have a real FOGO. I think the Stags will surprise some teams this year. However, I think Gonzaga has their number, as they live rent free in the DeMatha heads. |
Guess they decided not to stream the SJC game. It was showing as being today but they appear to have taken it down
