2011G ECNL and GA Teams

Saw it posted Arlington vs Bethesda today for 2011 and 2012. That should be good game. They rarely ever have to play against each other.

Someone on this thread posted earlier that the Arlington 2011s are looking to cut their bottom players and replace them with the top players from other Northern Virginia teams in order to make a run at the natty next year (freshman year). Any truth to that? And what positions do they need to strengthen?

Arlington will not cut anyone from the 2011 team. The only way there is a change is if a current girl decides she wants out.

Arlington 2011 is the best team in Virginia and ranks as the third-best team nationally. Why would they change anything?

They’re the 4th to 8th best team as of last year if they lost in the first round of 8 at nationals. So 3rd seems around right. They’re certainly top 10. But they didn’t win WAGS this year and didn’t even make it to the WAGS championship game.

Teams change year to year. Last year I agree they were top. this year ehh.

Yes the 2011 Arlington team is amazing but I would think players/parents would want to join a team trying to beat them. Guess I’m weird.

read again that was VDA. The discussion the delved into certain Vda players coming down to play w the winners at Arl. Peeps need to stop snitching

If you are good doesn’t matter which position they will make room for you.
