No it just sounds like the Target employees were trying to busy themselves on the floor.
They need to have extra associates visible to help out customers especially since the Black Friday sales were probably in full force!! |
| I used to get followed all the time in Target, even when I had a baby in the cart (actually especially then because I was always in a huge hurry). It was as clear as day I was being followed. The only reason that stopped is that I never set foot inside stores anymore -- I order everything online. So glad. Thank you, COVID. |
| I think wearing a big jacket when it’s not that cold out is a red flag. |
| Loss prevention was following me at tjmaxx Im with two little boys my same size looking at deodorant and look right at the guy. He tripped and fell trying to watch us. Was pretty funny. My kids didn’t know any better, they grew up differently than me, so they were trying to help him. |
| Target has very active loss prevention and aggressively pursues criminal charges for shoplifting. |
| I go to a Target that winds down around 8 pm and the loss prevention guys have little to do and I often chat with them. They have about 15 minutes of training, except for the people assigned to the electronics area, many of whom are young off duty miliary people who at least can look fierce. |
OT, but I will never again order online from Target. I once ordered 4 pairs of denim shorts for my teen daughter in different styles. They sent each pair separately, in a giant box filled with those plastic pillows. Each box was probably 2 ft x2 ft. My husband sent me a text wondering what in the world I ordered bc our porch was staked floor to ceiling with these 4 giant boxes. It look me 30 to open all the boxes, break them down and deflate all the packing pillows. It was like some bad practical joke. Never again will I order from Target |
