This would never been a thing if the only bad part was the congrats on your bump back and forth. That set the tone, but by far the worst part was Blake’s inability to engage the reporter at all and look at Parker the whole time. And Parker did the same thing. The reporter was obviously uncomfortable being cut out of the conversation and it makes her look bad because job is to ask questions and they deliberately decided they weren’t going to let her. Blake was also offended by being asked about clothes even though THE JOURNALIST IS A FASHION REPORTER - it was obviously going to be part of the interview which makes me think Blake is dumb as a rock and too lazy to prep. Then when Parker was okay taking about the clothes Blake was fine to engage. That is ultimate mean girl behavior: when you say it is dumb when she’s says it is the best idea ever. Just rude and inappropriate. |
You do realize that instead of arguing with people over what you think they should be offended by, you could just say sorry and move on. That is if you have any emotional intelligence. |
She can snap back at a stupid insensitive comment. The reporter is not some untouchable here. |
If that's how she behaviors then the public is right to drag her. |
Absolutely not. If you act like a rude psychopath over a completely benign statement, I will NOT apologize just to appease your ridiculous sensitivities. Your inability to interact with other human beings is a YOU problem. |

The interviewer said she was dealing with infertility so Blake's nasty comment about "look at your bump" was extra hurtful.

NP. It’s not insensitive to congratulate someone on their recently-announced pregnancy. Lively apparently couldn’t handle it like a normal person because she’s mean and dumb, and likes to punch down. |
Agreed. We have all gotten annoyed by people that we later have to work for or with. I may keep my responses short but I would never completey cut out that third person and act like they aren't there as Blake and Parker did. It was barely a 10 minute interview top. Imagine how they treat people the deem below them with the cameras off |
It is literally the journalist’s job to conduct herself in a professional manner. How do you think it’s going to go when you comment on a pregnant actress’s body? What is insane is clout chasing for the interview 8 years later. |
People on here are just obsessed with her. How many threads to they need to talk about how much they dislike Blake? There are at least 3 on the first page. There’s more than a bit of bias at play in refusing to acknowledge the interviewer sucked at her one job. |
So maybe don’t bring it up? |
Well, and now it's gotten her this round of terrible press. So she CAN do whatever she wants - but most normal people aren't on Blake Lively's side here. Will it matter? I don't know. It could for sure. |
Jesus, she did not "comment on a pregnant actress's body" - she congratulated her on her pregnancy! I don't know how people with your mindset get through a normal day. Grow up. |
It's not like she won't be able to get projects in the future but her reputation is most certainly stained. |
She was lucky to get this project in the first place. She’s a terrible actress. |
