Anyone else wonder if protein powder is just processed junk?

Naked Almonds or Naked Pea Protein.

That's it. No artificial anything, no junk.

You are welcome.

It is absolutely processed junk, but not as bad as something like Doritoes. For me I am trying to lose weight and it helps me when I make little treats like protein powder mousse with Fage unsweetened yogurt or avocado or a protein powder dessert with oat flour and flax or something. So it is 100% better than the real thing, I don't get a sugar high and crash and I feel full for hours. I try not to do it every day and I eat mostly whole foods other days. I would not use it for a breakfast unless I was in a rush that day and needed to feel full.

I don't know a single person in real life who does.

Me either. OP- just because you see posts about protein drinks, powders, etc, does not mean everyone on here drinks them. It means the people that are really into protein are very vocal about it.

Yes. Our young people need information literacy training. They really think thr 4 or 5 people who take the time out of their day to post to a free annonymous message board represent a majority (and who cares about a majority anyway we don't need to follow the herd of the masses)

An egg is high in cholesterol and saturated fat, in comparison to a quality vegan protein powder.
