I've seen her in real life at a mall when she was marooned here in the immediate aftermath of 9/11. She was tall. That is all. She really was not that pretty and it's the magic of makeup. I think she has had her skin lightened using those Korean techniques. She was very dark in 2001.

Long court battle exonerated him due to lack of certainty. His SUV drove over some street people and one died.

He was the wrong guy in Hum Dil Chuke Sanam and the wrong guy in real life.

Not the PP but It's not necessarily him. It's his family. The Bachchan family is huge in Bollywood. They're traditional to the point they're shrewds. Aishwarya, her husband and their daughter actually lived with them for years
They despise Aishwarya and are openly hostile toward thrm. For example his sister does a podcast and would praise Salman Khan (Aishwarya abusive ex) all the time. They often "forget" her and her daughter on the podcast and have made faces toward her. Common issue in Indian families but they are nasty toward her.

Her husband(Abhishek) is a supposedly a nice guy but let's his family run over her.

It’s a comparative thing. She was beyond stunning when young. Didn’t really get her looks back after she married and had her child. I think that stands in contrast with the stars of today (like Alia and Anushka) who somehow manage to look better than they did, pre-kid. Could also be because she married and had her child later.

PP. This is in the celebrities section of DCUM. Just because you've never heard of someone who is not American doesn't lessen their fame. My point is basically that this person is globally famous. This thread has come up because she's going to a billionnaire's kid's wedding. Justin Bieber, Rihanna, the Trumps and American and British politicians have been involved in this wedding and the engagement party earlier in the year.
