+1. And perhaps Royal Ascot. Would love to see her attend one of those days.

She’d be criticized, and perhaps rightfully so, if she just shows up for the “fun” events.

Not by me.

But by others. If she’s well enough to be “out and about” buying chocolate and whatnot, and attending Wimbledon and Ascot, then the royal-bashers will ask why she can’t do some easy work.

I don't worry about that. Life is short.

Oh but there’s a non-negligible part of the UK that wants to do away with the royal family. Kate needs to be a little strategic. You saying it’s all about her having fun is not the way to go.

No, I did not say it was all about her having fun, just that I don't worry if she attends an event to have some fun after the health ordeal she has gone through. This is a big event celebrating King Charles' birthday and her appearance is a way to honor him and thank her well-wishers.

Oh I agree. I just think she has to be careful about looking well enough to buy chocolate and attend fun sporting/equestrian events, because it would seem like she’s well enough to do some easy work.

That is her work. She is representing the royal family.

This is great news. The crowd is going to go wild. I love that she is releasing this info herself rather than 'palace spokesperson'.

Why is she releasing it? They (BP and KP) already said she wasn’t coming?

Is there friction?

Nobody official said she wasn't coming nor did they say she wouldn't be seen.

^ seen for the rest of the year I mean.

Seems so strange.

I still think there’s marital discord and divorce negotiations- now ended.
Maybe she got what she wanted?

I think she's just making moves herself. She's doing what she feels is the best choice.

The out of the woods part scares me some. I am guessing there's still cancer left then? I am excited to see her and the kids. Don't care about the rest of them. They can bite it

She had a reputation for being workshop before her marriage and then as William's wife. If she doesn't care, I suppose we shouldn't either.

She said she hasn't finished treatment. That could be all she means.

You people who obsess about her “loveliness” and the fact that she’s a super-skinny clotheshorse put just as much pressure, maybe more, on her to not venture outside with thinner hair or whatever.

Oop! The real ghouls in these threads.

...because she still has cancer, and had it when the first video was made

Glorifying what seemed like an eating disorder... smh. No wonder she thinks she has to stay really skinny, and have every strand of hair in place, before she ventures outside.

She told us they removed the cancer. Her current treatment is "precautionary" in case some cancerous cells escaped, but they don't know that for sure.

Sounds familiar. My sister and colleague said the same after their cancer had been removed.
