+1. And perhaps Royal Ascot. Would love to see her attend one of those days.

She’d be criticized, and perhaps rightfully so, if she just shows up for the “fun” events.

If I were her, I'd focus on events where I'd be sitting and away from crowds.

“ "I am not out of the woods yet," says the princess.”

Is that why the photo was taken in the woods/ forest? It's a beautiful place though

Looks like a garden. See the pond in the background?

This may or may not be a recent pic anyway (not that it matters, its ok to use an old pic for decoration as long as you don't lie and claim that it is new)

Not by me.

But by others. If she’s well enough to be “out and about” buying chocolate and whatnot, and attending Wimbledon and Ascot, then the royal-bashers will ask why she can’t do some easy work.

I don't worry about that. Life is short.

Oh but there’s a non-negligible part of the UK that wants to do away with the royal family. Kate needs to be a little strategic. You saying it’s all about her having fun is not the way to go.

I choose to ignore the haters and focus on the positive.

This is the way.

Seems so strange.

I still think there’s marital discord and divorce negotiations- now ended.
Maybe she got what she wanted?

I still think they're negotiating a permanent separation/divorce or something. The way the Midd family has been dead silent, the way Will didn't bail them out of their business failure & massive debts, the younger kids not being seen...

No.

Matbe she really is taking control of the narrative a bit. Either way, I'm glad to see her. She looks tired, but lovely.

Watching tennis at Wimbledon is a work thing. Ascot is too, I think.

No, I did not say it was all about her having fun, just that I don't worry if she attends an event to have some fun after the health ordeal she has gone through. This is a big event celebrating King Charles' birthday and her appearance is a way to honor him and thank her well-wishers.

You must be the Kate-worshipper who the moderator complained was reporting dozens of posts that were even mildly questioning or critical of Kate and her staff. He said you probably think Kate is reading DCUM and that that was wacky.

For the rest of you, Jeff said all this in one of his daily summaries a few weeks ago.

Agree. If she feels up to it, I can see her attending the King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot on the first day of the meet.

Oh I agree. I just think she has to be careful about looking well enough to buy chocolate and attend fun sporting/equestrian events, because it would seem like she’s well enough to do some easy work.

You people who obsess about her “loveliness” and the fact that she’s a super-skinny clotheshorse put just as much pressure, maybe more, on her to not venture outside with thinner hair or whatever.

And 2-3 batshit Kate worshippers. One of the posters here now is probably that poster.
