NP. You’re insane. The applicants to those schools all have the same profile and test scores. |
Those schools are so different that they should not be and are not lumped together. |
Vandy, WashU, Emory, BC, and G tech are peer schools. UNC is off a little buit but close. Tufts is close to UNC. |
Bumping because this remains the truth. |
Bumping bc what silliness you posted less than 24 hours ago needed a sockpuppeted post? Try golf |
Reputation wise they are not the same. Outcome wise they are not the same. |
|
Tufts and Georgia Tech are peer schools? What insanity. Tufts is peers with Emory, WashU. Size, applicant pool.
UNC is not a peer to Tufts. Tufts SAT 25% is almost 1500. UNC's 25% is 1370. UNC has more freshmen scoring lower than 1370 than Tufts has freshmen. |
|
SAT scores are not what makes peers its the schools reputation. Northeastern has high scores it's not on these other schools levels. https://www.chronicle.com/article/who-does-your-college-think-its-peers-are?sra=true This is where you find Tufts peers. |
| Wow, this thread has gotten to be quite the "no they aren't" "yes they are" type of conversation. |
What reputation? Reputation among students is what matters the most. Schools with high reputation will have high demand among high stat kids. |
Reputation among students? Do you take Niche rankings more seriously than USnews. Do Tulane grads get the same opportunities as washu grads because it's more popular? |
Read again. It's not about random rankings. It's what's actually happening and actual data. Tulane students have lower stats. |
Vanderbilt, WashU, Emory, GA Tech, and UNC are all in trash states. Yuck. |
Only 2 T25s choose Tufts as a peer as opposed to 9 for Emory, 10 for Vanderbilt, and 11 for WashU |
