My crap education got me a job that pays me several hundred thousand dollars a year, but you do you. |
I guess that you are serious about this…? It’s hard to tell if you aren’t just trolling because it’s so silly, but it’s possible. Just to recap here, you are fighting for the rights of people to form encampments on a college campus, and you are also ok with them being exclusionary based on some political ideology? Because something completely different is happening in the Middle East? To the point that Jewish people fear for their safety? The only people “losing it” are the tik tok tantrumers, who in reality are an extreme minority on campuses. Yikes, they can’t divest that brainwashing disinformation machine fast enough. |
You mean 30 years ago? |
I believe the expression is that they are “getting a taste of their own medicine.” I know it sucks to have your privileges exposed, but it’s past time. |
My brother makes several hundred thousand dollars and is in complete control of his time. He dropped out of college. |
You have it exactly backwards. The inconvenience to the Zionists on college campus, who insist on their right to broadcast their support for an Israeli government that has murdered tens of thousands of Palestinians, when they are excluded from a pro-Palestinian encampment on a college campus is but a mere pittance compared to the inconveniences of everyday life for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. That's why the whining of the Shai Davidai's and Bari Weiss's of the world is so freaking pathetic, although perhaps they know in their hearts that the Zionist project, at least in its current incarnation, is coming to an end. |
What's so hard to understand? The campus is open to all. Jewish students are welcome to form a rival encampment to support Israel's bombing. They are not entitled to join everything on campus. There are many things that are off limits to Jewish and non Jewish students at Columbia. |
They don't want to confront their own moral bancruptcy. |
Can't wait to hear your justification for the "Immigrant Free" and "Whites Only" encampments. |
I am a Jewish Columbia grad who is deeply disturbed by the anti-semitism on college campuses. I am as moderate D as it comes, I think Biden is handling this well - and I also feel like I've been red-pilled about how toxic the far left has become.
That said - I was watching some of the videos this morning, and was struck by just how annoying these protesters are. It reminded me of the Occupy encampments (which weren't as anti-semitic, from what I recall) - but in look, feel, tone, behavior. I remember those irritating call and repeat chants, the high pitched whiny voices of those leading them, the whole thing. When did young people get so annoying? Was it always so? |
Well, then, the Columbia students have a choice. They can align temporarily with the Jewish students to show strength against these supposedly outside agitators, and then get back to their peaceful protest. Or they can align with these supposedly outside agitators. We see what they’ve picked so far. |
Rebels without a cause. They are cosplaying peace activists while wishing death on Jews and saying "we are Hamas". It's a movement empty of actual humanitarian motivations. All they are left with are death chants, screams, hidden faces...Basically a temper tantrum for bored, nasty entitled kids. They could actually unite for women's rights, under threat in this country, right now, but it's too much work and not cool enough of a cause. |
They already denounced them. |
Their cause is solid and just. That’s why you feel so disturbed. That’s why Jewish violent Columbia professors feel enraged enough to agitate at the encampments. |
No The outside agitators are the pro Israeli groups. Columbia is 24% Jewish. The other 75% of students who oppose Israel and its genocide “feel uncomfortable” with the militant supporters of Israel. These people need to be removed from campus and certainly we should the banning of ten Israel flag. That flag is the equivalent of a nazi or confederate flag. |
